Ingredients
For the Marinade:
- 500g meat (chicken, beef, or lamb), cut into pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
For the Korma:
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or ghee
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2-3 green chilies (adjust to taste)
- 1-2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 cup coconut milk or heavy cream
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts or almonds (optional, soaked and blended)

Instructions
1. Marinate the Meat:
- In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Add the meat pieces, coating them well. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
2. Cook the Korma:
- Heat oil or ghee in a large pot over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and fry until golden brown. Remove half for garnishing later.
- Add the marinated meat and green chilies to the pot. Cook until the meat is browned on all sides.
