π€ Cinnamon Toast Hug
Golden, buttery toast with a cinnamon-vanilla sugar crust that melts on your tongue and warms your whole soul.
Ingredients (serves 2):
- 4 slices of your fave bread (thick and fluffy or classic sandwich style)
- 3 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (or 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste)
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: maple syrup drizzle, powdered sugar, or whipped cream
Instructions:
- Preheat & Mix the Magic:
Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) or set your toaster oven to bake.
In a bowl, mix softened butter with sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until smooth and creamy. - Spread the Hug:
Spread the cinnamon-vanilla butter generously over one side of each slice. Donβt be shy β this is the hug part. - Bake It Up:
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, butter-side up. Bake for 8β10 minutes until edges are golden and tops are bubbly. Broil for 1β2 mins at the end for that crisp caramelized top (watch closely!). - Serve Warm:
Cut diagonally (obviously), stack them cozily, and serve with a warm drink. Add a dusting of powdered sugar or drizzle of maple syrup if you wanna go extra.
